Effectiveness of virtual reality in depression stigma reduction campaigns

A two-part research study was conducted with 210 participants to evaluate the effectiveness of virtual reality in depression stigma reduction campaigns in Singapore. The first study was carried out using a simulated depression education booth set up in the National University of Singapore during Mental Health Awareness Week to compare the effectiveness of VR with standard brochures, while the second study was carried out in a psychology lab in Yale-NUS College to compare VR with standard educational videos.
